I never thought I’d fall in love with pig eyes and pigeon toes,

But he means the world to me; his love for me really shows.

I try to overlook his minor faults,

And focus on the places that really count.

He has a well-muscled chest and nice round hind end,

Is also a good listener and my very best friend.

He is always there to listen when I’ve had a bad day.

He is my shoulder to cry on when nothing is going my way.

My secrets are safe with him until the very end,

He wouldn’t tell a soul; he is such a trustworthy friend.

He never speaks a harsh word; is always very kind.

A friend like him is a rare find.

Sometimes I may ask too much of him; he works so hard for me.

Never complains about anything; is always happy as can be.

My handsome Dude is a blessing from above,

He is my favorite horse; one I truly love.
